"Palladio and His Legacy: A Transatlantic Journey" is an exhibition which features thirty-one original Palladio drawings from the Royal Institute of British Architects, together with several rare architectural texts, and sixteen of our models. The drawings and texts illustrate the journey from Italy to North America of Palladio's design principles of proportion, harmony, and beauty.
The drawings, which were exhibited only once before in the USA will be on view to the American public for the first time in over thirty years.
The first leg of the exhibition at the Morgan Library and Museum, New York has ended. The second leg of the exhibition will commence on September 2 at The National Building Museum, Washington DC. The exhibition will be there until January 9 2011.".
